Your wallpaper stays yours.

SpaceStamp renders wallpapers in your browser. We collect the small amount of information entered at the download gate; we do not receive your project name, logo, font or finished image.

Who is responsible

SpaceStamp is operated by Baxter House Consultants Ltd, company number 10247877, registered at 132B Petersham Road, Richmond, England, TW10 6TZ. Questions, access requests and deletion requests can be sent to hello@desktopwallpapermaker.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address when you request a free export or buy lifetime access.
  • The use case you choose, such as client work or product building.
  • Whether you actively opted in to product and Mac workflow emails.
  • The export type, style direction, number of screen sizes and time of a free-export request.
  • Purchase and receipt details supplied by Stripe, such as transaction status and amount. We do not receive your full card details.

We do not collect the project name, context line, chosen colours, uploaded logo, uploaded font, screen contents or exported wallpaper. Those stay in the browser.

Why we use it

We use the free-download record to provide the requested file, understand which workflows find SpaceStamp useful, prevent abuse and decide what to improve. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the gated service for this use.

We use purchase details to take payment, confirm lifetime access, provide support, prevent fraud and meet our accounting obligations. This processing is necessary to perform our contract with you and to meet legal obligations that apply to transaction records.

We send product updates or Mac workflow emails only when you tick the separate marketing box. Consent is optional and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us.

Where it goes and how long we keep it

Free-download forms are processed and stored by Netlify, our website hosting provider. Purchases are processed by Stripe. These providers may process information outside the UK under their contractual data-protection safeguards. We do not sell this data.

We keep non-marketing free-download records for up to 12 months. Transaction records are kept for as long as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention and disputes. If you opt in to email, we keep the email and consent record until you unsubscribe or after 24 months without engagement, whichever comes first. Suppression records may be kept so we honour an unsubscribe request.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw marketing consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

You have the right to object to our use of your data for direct marketing at any time.

Cookies and automated decisions

SpaceStamp does not use advertising cookies. Local-storage flags remember whether the free export has been used and whether Stripe confirmed lifetime access on that browser. They are necessary to operate the download choices. If optional audience measurement is offered, it remains off until you choose to allow it. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
